Progress
Today was the first of many offline edits to come in my career. Words such as targa, tags, footage, mnemonics, titles, sequencing and grading have never really had to be used in my vocabulary before! I must’ve looked like a right fool when I asked the editor what the difference was between offline and online edits. Thankfully he was gracious enough to explain the whole procedure to me without even cracking a smile… I am now well and truly on my way to becoming an Art Director of the highest standard! With a Gold Loerie to my portfolio and a TV brief on my desk I am well chuffed with how this week has panned out.

I happened to stumble upon it the other day. If you go to your Customize page… go to Appearance, and then tick “Show Likes” - but by the looks of it you already figured it out :) Nice blog by the way.
Hey! Thanks for the compliment. I found your blog through another reblog actually. Am always looking out for rad inspiration all over the place. So ja, just stumbled upon you really.
Where are you studying at the moment? And what year are you in?
Don’t know what advice to give you. I am currently working at Ogilvy Johannesburg - and the one lesson I’ve learn’t since I started here is to not let people look down on you because of your age. You are only as good as you think you are. Never stop “creating” - try (as much as possible) to absorb the world around you. And travel - there is so much out there to experience.
Hope that answers your question?
